How do I make the perfect coffee with my Handpresso French Press ?

1. Add the ground coffee to the bottom of the metal cafetiere. We recommend 8.5 g per 100 ml cup, which is approximately equivalent to a large tablespoon. So 6 tablespoons for a full coffee pot.
2. Pour some simmering water (around 92°C), equivalent to 2 cups, making circles to get a perfect infusion.
3.  After 20 seconds, fill up to the desired amount (max 600 ml).
4.  Stir with a spoon and then put the lid back on
5.  Allow to infuse for 4 minutes (adjust according to taste and desired flavors).
6.  Press gently and evenly until finished, then pour and enjoy!

What type of coffee should I use in my French Press?

Use ground coffee for your coffee cafetiere, preferably with a coarse grind, this will provide a more pronounced aroma.

If the grind is too fine, coffee can pass through the filter and you will have coffee grounds on the bottom of your cup.

Whether at home, camping or on vacation, ground coffee is more environmentally friendly and less expensive. Your Handpresso French Press is a sustainable choice.
